The Endless Networking Cycle

I took an inventory of my social networking "schedule" today.  Here is how I spend my time online, in a nutshell:

1. Check primary Hotmail account
2. Check secondary (business) Hotmail account
3. Facebook
4. Twitter
5. Gmail
6. Blogger (Traffic, stats, comments, etc.)
7. Peruse new blog posts/updates
8. Comment on aforementioned blog updates
9. Facebook
10. Twitter
11. AW forums
12. QT forums
13. QT - main querying site
14. WB forums
15. Zalso forums
16. Facebook
17. Twitter
18. Angry Robot web page
19. Duotrope
20. LibraryThing groups, etc.
21. Write new blog post (maybe)
22. Spend 45 minutes trying to get the dang thing to post in dashboard & feedburner
23. Wait 5 minutes & repeat

This is, of course, subject to change at any time, for any reason whatsoever.  I might, for example, check my email 3 or 4 times in between Twittering and Facebooking.

No wonder I have trouble getting up the gumption to write!  :P

  1. Wow. Publicity and networking are not for the faint of heart. I'm not on Fb or Twitter and I am glad.
